I started LienLists because I was frustrated with the tax lien content online. Most of it is written by marketers who've never attended an auction, pushing courses and promising easy money.
I'm an active tax lien investor in South Carolina. I've attended county auctions, done the due diligence, made the bids, and dealt with the paperwork. I've had wins and I've made mistakes.
This site shares what I've actually learned from doing this - not what sounds good in a sales pitch.
Why South Carolina?
South Carolina is my home state and where I do most of my investing. It's a tax deed state with some unique characteristics that I've come to know well.
While I cover other states based on research and interviews with investors, my SC content comes from direct experience attending auctions in multiple counties.
